By default, Metamask doesn’t automatically add all the available tokens on the network, and you have to manually add them.
So if you want to use BUSD token with Metamask wallet on BNB network you will have to add it first. Only then you’ll be able to see your BUSD balance and send it somewhere.
Preparation
First of all, you need to install Metamask’s plugin in your browser or their app on your smartphone.
Secondly, add a network you will use BUSD token on.
In most cases it is Etherium. It can be BNB Smart Chain (and here is an instruction on how to add it). Or it may be another network like Avalance or Polygon, which you can add in a similar way.
Keep in mind you’ll need to hold some BNB in your wallet as well so you can pay the network fees.
And don’t forget to switch to Binance Smart Chain before adding the token.
Adding BUSD token to Metamask
Simplest method:
1. Go to CoinGecko Binance USD page: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/binance-usd (if you are using the app, open the link inside Metamask’s browser)
2. On the right side find “Contract”:

If you want to add BUSD to Etherium network, simply click Metamask icon:
If you want to add BUSD to another network, click three dots (•••) and then click Metamask’s icon in front of the network you want:
4. Metamask’s window will open. Press “Add token” button:
Manual method:
1. Select a proper network and click “Import tokens” link at the bottom:
2. Paste “Token Contract Address” depending on the network you use:

3. After that, the other fields should be automatically filled. Then click “Add Custom Token” button (or “Import” button in the app).
4. Click “Import Tokens” button:
That’s it!
After following those steps you will see BUSD token listed and you can see your BUSD balance and send it.
Be careful about inserting tokens and verify tokens’ contract address on multiple websites to make sure it is correct.
